It’s coming up to that time of the year where Christmas will soon be upon us. Since beginning in December 2016, with your help we’ve raised 98.4kg of donations in total for the local area. We’d really appreciate it if you could help again this year in our food donation campaign. We will be leaving a box for donations in IC1 reception from the 11th November.

We are planning to take all donations to the Newcastle Foodbank, who are currently short of:

  • Tinned Fruit
  • Tinned Rice Pudding
  • Tinned Cold Meat/Ham/Corned Beef
  • TInned Fish
  • Long Life Milk
  • Long life fruit juice
  • Small coffee
  • Potatoes – Tinned and mash
  • Tinned Spaghetti
  • Chocolate
  • Sponge Puddings
  • Dried Milk
  • Sugar
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Shaving Foam/Razors
  • Toilet Rolls
  • Washing Up liquid/gel

It may also be worth including other non-food items such as feminine products, and baby supplies such as nappies and baby wipes. But any and all donations will be greatly appreciated as always.

Newcastle (Staffs) Foodbank provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.
