(2007), James P. Womak, Daniel T. Jones and Daniel Roos – a perennial go to book that I’ve revisited over the years and in many ways was the starting point for UK Public Sector applying the principles of Lean based on the ‘Toyota Way’ with variable levels of success.  I found myself with recent clients teaching the concepts of Value, Non-value-add and Waste – I always love the moment the penny drops when clients realise that working longer, harder and faster isn’t helping them improve their business.
