1. Nudge by Richard H. Thaler & Cass R. Sunstein

Nudge is a term you will hear a lot of in your studies of Behavioural Science. In this book Thaler & Sustein explain key behavioural science principles, what nudges are and how they can be used to help people make better decisions.This book is great if you’re wondering how to support your children eat healthier food or your staff make environmentally friendly choices. Why not check it out and see what you can do

2. Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

‘Thinking, Fast and Slow’ explores how two systems of thinking shapes our judgement and how using behavioural science can help us how to think and avoid mistakes when the stakes are really high.

If you want to understand how others (and even you) think, this is an absolute must!

3. Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely

In ‘Predictably Irrational’ Ariely explores why seemingly smart, logical people make irrational choices every day. By looking at the way our brains are made up, challenges your understanding of human behaviour.

We recommend this to anyone who has a desire to learn about behaviour from a psychological perspective.

4. Engaged: Designing for Behavior Change by Amy Bucher

Engaged: Designing for Behavior Change’ explores how you can incorporate behaviour change principles into designs to help people achieve meaningful goals.

This is an interesting read for anyone who works in communications or product design and want to help users achieve their goals

5. The Behavioural Change Wheel: A guide to designing interventions by Susan Michie, Lou Atkins & Robert West

The Behaviour Change Wheel – A guide to Designing Interventions’ provides behavioural science theory-based tools to form a step-by-step intervention design manual to help you make sure you’re creating effective interventions.

This book is crucial to read before you throw yourself in to deploying behaviour change projects.
